The FD2 PLUS features a full-length flexible cutterbar for exceptional ground tracking while maintaining the majority of the reel-to-cutterbar relationship. Designed for producers who grow low-podding crops in highly uneven or hilly fields or those who need to navigate challenging terraces and waterways.

The feather-light float response of the flexing cutterbar instantly adapts to ground condition with the option to switch from full flex to a completely rigid frame.

With six model options from 30-50 ft. widths and 50-inch deep drapers, the FD2 PLUS series ensures efficient crop delivery to the feederhouse to capture what’s in the field.

Max Flex for An Extremely Close Cut

• The FD2 PLUS features a simple yet highly reliable leaf spring flexing cutterbar, delivering a feather-light float response that instantly adapts to ground conditions. This system works in tandem with our flexing frame and MacDon’s Active Float System which supports up to 97% of the header’s weight. Together, these three proven mechanical systems provide a reliable instant float response, allowing the FD2 PLUS to cut extremely close to the ground without pushing dirt. A 50-foot FD2 PLUS FlexDraper features 17 inches of wing flex, plus an additional 24 inches of lateral tilt, providing a total flex range of up to 41 inches on either end, independent of the combine.

• With just a few easy lockouts, the FD2 PLUS transforms from a fully flexing frame and cutterbar to a completely rigid unit. Simply locate the leaf springs, apply leverage with the provided lockout tool to lift them, and then insert a lock block.

• The FD2 PLUS is available in 30-, 35-, 40-, 41-, 45-, and 50-foot widths. The FD2 PLUS comes standard with a double knife drive in all widths except 30-ft. A triple reel is standard for 40-, 45-, and 50-foot widths.

• The FD2 PLUS is equipped with the ClearCut High-Speed Cutting System which delivers a clean cut at higher speeds to maximize grain capture. The improved knife drive features a robust output shaft, direct hydraulic drive, and a flywheel for smooth operation. A longer blade and optimized knife shape provide you with faster, cleaner cut quality, even when running at high ground speeds. Fitted bolts make in-field knife section replacement quick and easy.

• Adjust the reel finger positioning and reel drive chain tension.

• Add and remove end divider cones.
