Common Problems

Signs your mower needs service.

Catching small issues early prevents bigger repairs. These are the most common problems our technicians see.

01
Won’t Start
Old or stale fuel and a fouled spark plug are the top culprits after winter storage. Our fuel system service and spark plug inspection resolve most no-start issues.
02
Poor Cut Quality
Dull blades, a clogged deck, or an unlevel cutting deck produce scalped or striped turf. Blade sharpening and deck cleaning included in every service.
03
Excessive Vibration
A bent blade, loose hardware, or worn blade adapter causes vibration that accelerates wear across the entire deck and drivetrain.
04
Self-Propel Failure
A worn friction wheel, stretched cable, or failed drive belt stops the self-propel system. We inspect and adjust drive cables on every visit.
05
Runs Rough or Stalls
Surging, rough running, or stalling under load often traces back to stale fuel or a dirty air filter — both addressed by our fuel system service and air filter cleaning.
06
Electric Start Dead
A weak battery, corroded terminals, or a failed solenoid are common after storage. Battery check and charging included in every service.
