How It Works
In normal use the operator stands on a cushioned platform and mows at full stand-on speed with a 60-inch deck. When they reach ground where riding is not sensible — a steep drop-off, a bank they would rather walk, or a low canopy they cannot get under — the platform folds up tight against the chassis and they walk behind the same machine.
Nothing is removed, nothing is left on the trailer, and the deck width does not change. It is the same mower operated two ways.

Commercial sites here come with retention ponds, drainage swales and mature tree canopies — the exact conditions that used to justify keeping a walk-behind on the trailer. Older residential neighbourhoods around Metro Detroit add another: narrow side gates that a full-size rider simply will not pass.
