Mid-range tractor service includes a full hydraulic and PTO system inspection, ensuring your tractor is ready for heavy loader work, implement use, and field operation.

Tractor problems often develop gradually. Catching them early prevents costly downtime. These are the most common issues our technicians see.

Hard Starting / Won’t Start in Cold Weather
Cold-start issues often point to glow plug failure, a weak battery, or fuel delivery problems. Diesel tractors are especially sensitive to glow plug condition in Michigan winters.

Hydraulic System Slow or Won’t Lift
A low hydraulic fluid level, worn pump, or contaminated fluid causes loader slowness or hitch that won’t raise under load. Early hydraulic service prevents pump damage.

PTO Won’t Engage
A failed PTO switch, clutch, or solenoid prevents implement engagement. We diagnose and repair the full PTO system to restore proper function.

Overheating
Blocked cooling fins, a clogged radiator, low coolant, or a failing thermostat cause overheating under load. Left unaddressed, overheating leads to head gasket and engine damage.

Transmission or Hydrostatic Issues
Sluggish or erratic drive response, difficulty shifting, or loss of ground drive often indicates low transmission fluid, worn drive components, or a hydrostatic system issue.

Loader Drift or Slow Response
Hydraulic cylinder seal leaks cause loader drift (slow drop while raised) and reduce lift speed. Cylinder and hydraulic service restores proper loader performance.

- Implements and attachments are serviced separately at $150 per implement.
- Additional fluid and filter services beyond basic annual maintenance are billed according to manufacturer flat-rate service guidelines.
- Parts, fluids, filters, and additional repairs are not included in the base service price.
